            Happy Friday! I hope everyone has had a great week. The seniors are getting closer to graduation. I have several that are failing classes that are needed for graduation. I encouarage you to call home and talk to the parents to let them know what their student needs to get done to pass your class. I am also communicating with parents, but I can't tell them what needs to be done to pass. Seniors final day of class is May 10. They will take semester tests on May 13 and 14. On May 14 all tests need to be done by noon. Senior grades are due at 8:00 am on May 15. This is a hard deadline as Amy will need to run final awards for that night. All seniors will need to have 50 credits at this time or he/she will not be walking at graduation.  On May 7, Dr. Webner will be holding staff information meetings on the facility study and possible buildings. He will hold 2 meetings in the HS/MS complex that day, one from 7:40-8:00 am and another from 3:40...

I eventually will need to make some tough decisions on how we will cover classes if we don't get any applicants.  As we are getting 4th quarter going, remember today is the midterm and the last day to have had PASS Plans. Any student at risk of failing your class will need to have a meeting and the form will need to be turned into me so I can document the meeting. You all have access to the spreadsheet if you need to see if I have a form from a meeting you attended. I am kind of on hold with the master schedule to see what happens with our openings. If you have not heard, Alayna Bus will be leaving us to go to Central Lyon next school year. If you know of a FACS teachers, please encourage them to apply for our opening.  On Monday, the students will be taking the Conditions for Learning Survey during advisory. This survey no longer impacts our score on the Iowa Performance Profile. Please encourage the students to answer truthfully and to think of their whole experience and not a one time event.         Happy Friday! We have almost made it through ISASP. Since next week is only a 3 day week, there will not be a Friday Focus. With the surprise extra hours of sleep for some of you, we will be running ISASP on Monday. Please make sure the students are aware. I do see the weather forecast could be similar to this morning, if we would be late again, we will move ISASP back to Tuesday.  Thank you for all your work during ISASP. I will be sending out a survey to get some feedback on how the days went. Please look for that in your email and respond back as it will help CIA, Adam, and I determine if we need to make any changes to the format.  Prom is sneaking up on us. Grand March is at 7:30. Doors to the public open at 6:45. The after-prom committee does charge admission.       Happy Friday! I hope everyone had a great week. Today is the end of the 3rd quarter. With that being said, grades will be due by 8:30 am on Monday. Please put comments for students who have D and F's in the Q3 category. Amy will run report cards after I store grades. The district academic eligiblity policy will be in effect. Students must pass 4 full time classes in order to be academically eligible for any school activity. Students that are not academically eligible will be ineligible for the entire 4th quarter. Mr. Moss will get you this list. Please make sure if you have an ineligible participant that they are not in a competition.  Requistions for next year are due to me today.      Happy Friday! I hope everyone had a great week. Looks like March is coming in like a lamb. I may have aged myself again with that statement. I will be gone next Friday, so I'll use this to update the next couple of weeks.  I am about done with all the department meetings. I do have a couple more to get to today and Monday, then I should be able to start working on the master schedule.  I will be having a senior class meeting Monday during advisory. I want to go over some credit things and end of year items with them. It won't last the entire advisory, but I will keep them there until the bell rings.  March 13 will be our next professional development day. The sped teachers will be meeting in the library with the other district sped teachers. The other groups will continue working on the DOK and discussing the honor courses if needed.  We have hired a new libriarian for next school year, her name is Casey Thomas. She currently lives in Orange City....
