Happy Friday! This will be my last Friday Focus for the 21-22 school year. I know some of you are cheering right now. 

First off, thank you for all you have done this year. I know words can't express how much I appreciate working with a great staff. You really do make my job easy as I can be there to support you. 

As we draw near the end of the year, just some reminders of things that will need to happen before you leave for the summer.

1. Make sure all grades are entered and you have finalized your gradebook.

2. Make sure you fill out the textbook inventory form. I will share this document with you so you can start working on it.

3. Please fill out your Tier 2 end of year reflection and share with Kyle or I prior to leaving on May 27.

Next week we do have semester test, just a couple of items. 

1. Semester Test will be on Wednesday and Thursday. If a student wants to move it to another period and it benefits you, I don't have an issue with it. 

2. Students do need to stay the entire period unless they have a pass from the office or a teacher.

3. Grades will be due before 11:00 am on Friday, May 27.

Student check out day - May 24 We will follow this schedule:

Period 1: 8:30 - 9:13
Period 2: 9:17 - 10:00
Period 3: 10:04 - 10:47
Period 4: 10:51 - 11:34

    1st Class: 11:38 - 12:21
    2nd Lunch: 12:25 - 12:55

On Tuesday, only those kids not taking semester test should be checked out. If they need to take your semester test, do not sign them out and do not sign out their computer. They may need it. Please make sure you check the laptops and chargers match what you checked out to the students at the beginning of the year. Once that is done, you can sign off on the computer/charger. If something doesn't match, write the number down of the missing one and we will see if it was turned in by someone else. Also have the student show you the laptop powered on so you can see if the screen works.

On the last day of school, students will be dismissed at 1:30. Don't forget about the district recognition in the commons. I believe it starts at 2.

Assistant Principal's Happenings

Last week of school!  I know for me this year flew by and it has been overall a very good year.  I'm glad we had some normalcy from the previous two years.  Thank you for all the hard work in helping students.  I know it often feels like we are spinning in circles with some students but the efforts you do make huge impacts in our student's lives.  

We will be meeting with students interested in joining Student Council for next year during 1st hour for about 10 minutes.  If there are students that need to be in class please have them reach out to Mrs. Isebrand or myself so they can get the information for joining.  We will make an announcement at the start of 1st hour today.

Graduation is this weekend.  Come out and celebrate this great group of Seniors on Sunday at 3 on the Field!

I've worked to keep the Semester Tests updated with any changes.  If students want to get off the list they need to by today.  Let me know if any student is now above a D+ for Quarter 4.  There should be no students who are wondering if they are on the list or not at this point.

  Friday Focus  Happy Friday! I hope everyone had a great week.  On Monday, I attended a DCAP workshop. You may be asking what is a DCAP workshop? DCAP is our District Career Academic Plan. Just like the student ICAP, Individual Career Academic Plan, the district must have one also. In the DCAP, we spell out what we are doing to prepare our students for college career readiness and employability skills. The DCAP consists of 7 sections, the main sections deal with course planning, work-based learning, and 5 essential components of ICAP.  The course planning section deals with the students 4 year plan and how the students and parents are advised on progress towards graduation. This is why we have the grade level registration meetings, our 8th grade CTE day, 8th grade parent meeting, etc so we can meet this requirement.  I am sure by this point, you are asking yourself how does this apply to me?   Friday Focus Happy Friday! I hope everyone had a great week. We made it through graduation breakfast, practice, and award night. I was thinking that Wednesday is just as about as busy of a day as the Friday of homecoming for me.  This will be the last Friday Focus for the school year, so I'll try to remember to have everything you need to know to get through the last week of classes. Please remember contracts are due to Central Office on the 23rd. I do have a basket on my desk where you can turn it into me and I'll get it to Central Office.   We will be running the advisory schedule on Monday. On Tuesday, we will use the last day of school schedule. On the last day of classes students will be checking out. Please sign their check out sheets. If they have school property that needs to be returned, please document it on the sheet. During advisory that day, they will turn in their laptops.   Friday Focus Happy Friday!   I hope everyone has had a great week. Today is midterm of the 1st quarter. Please make sure all grades are up to date. Amy will run midterms and we will hand them out during 8th period.   I have had my first PASS plan turned in, congrats to Ms. Hommes to be the first one to get one done. Unfortuately is is for a senior that needs his credits. Next week is homecoming, let the fun begin. Monday night at 7:30 pm is the coronation. Come out to the competition gym to see who will be crowned this year's King and Queen.  On Monday, we will have class meetings so students can sign up for the different competitions. Freshmen will be in the Little Theater, Sophomores in the Library, Juniors in the Commons, and Seniors in the Competition Gym.
