Monday is the last day of Trimester 2, we will have kids moving to PE and Careers classes. Trimester 2 grades are due on 2/28 by 8:30 am. I have scheduled number meetings for next week. I will go over sections and get input for things I need to consider when making the master schedule. I hope to have the master schedule done by the end of March.
I do have a couple of seniors I am keeping an eye on in terms of credits and making it to graduation. I will start meeting with these students a little more frequently. I am going to have a senior class meeting on March 4, during advisory, to start to go over graduation information. We will meet in the Little Theater. I will keep them there the entire period so they are are not walking around.
Coming up in March we do have our ISASP. March 18 will be a normal advisory day, then March 19 - 22 we will run the ISASP block schedule. March 19-20 will be the Reading and Science substests and March 21-22 will be the Writing and Math subtests. I do need to have those teachers proctoring the ISASP to watch the security video. This can be done at the Feb 28 or March 13 during in-service. I'll have Mrs. Hill send out the info on the training.
Looking further ahead, next shelter drill is on 2/29 at 1:45. We no longer have a evac drill on March 27. Chief Schipper is letting us count our 2 fire alarms this month as that evac drill. For those who are wondering when PASS Plans are due, that will be April 19 for all semester 2 and trimester 3 classes.
