Friday Focus Happy Friday! It is our first 3 day weekend of the school year and officially week 1 of the college football season. I wish your team luck unless they are playing Oklahoma or if it is UT, nobody really likes the shorthorns anyway. Tuesday would be a good day to refresh your students on the classroom rules and procedures. The honeymoon phase this year is not near as long as it has been in the past, usually we can make it to homecoming. On September 16, during 3rd and 4th period, I will be administering the Civics Exams to 70+ seniors that have not taken this exam yet. This is a new state requirement for graduation. Students must earn a 60% or higher sometime during their 4 years in high school. Students will be taking this exam normally in government class their Junior year.
