Amy will run those reports in the morning and will get put them in your mailbox to handout to your 8th period class. Students with opens 8th period will need to get them in the office.  During advisory on Monday, we will have class meetings.     Happy Friday the Thirteenth! I hope everyone has had a good week. I am glad no one got hurt on Wednesday with the fly swatter activity. I did see a few groups getting kind of competitive. Please make sure that you are taking attendance and marking all students absent that are not there, use the TRU code. I have seen the UT and the ET code used when students were absent. Please add this in your sub notes so the subs know which code to use to mark a student absent.   Midterm is quickly approaching. With that in mind, the MTSS committee will be looking at our early warning system data to see what students may need more interventions either because of attendance or current grades. Students with grade issues will be ass...

Happy Friday!  I don't know about you, but I always think the short weeks seem to take more out of me than the normal 5 day school week. Maybe I am trying to squeeze too much into the 4 days.  I hope everyone had a great week! Adam and I are trying to make an effort to be out in the halls more. I am also starting to visit classrooms. I have made into a few classrooms this week already and have seen some good activities taking place. Please continue to challenge our students and push them out of their comfort zones.  Some dates you will want to keep in mind: September 11 - In-Service, September 18 - Evac Drill, September 21 - Midterm, September 25 - In-Service, and September 27 - Homecoming. For the evac drill, if your classes crosses 3rd Ave, please make sure the students are up on the sidewalk and not standing in the street. Chief Schipper asked that we remind the students as they will have fire trucks coming down the street. Otherwise, he was happy with our...
