Happy Friday! I hope everyone had a good week. Seniors will be down to 10 days. I have about 18 of them I am watching to make sure they pass what they need to graduate. For a couple of them, I think I am more stressed about it then they are.  It is amazing how busy this time of year gets. Spring sport seasons are really going, we are getting ready for graduation, the counselors are working with kids on their schedules for next year, etc. Please take some time to enjoy the moment and relax when you can.  At the LCS Foundation Banquet on Wednesday, Paul Fischer was honored for his 25 years of employment at LCHS. Also celebrating their 25th year were Joanne Koth, Dawn MacGregor, Eric Peterson, Leigha Scheitler, and Leroy Wichers. Employees of the Month were also recognized again, Cliff Collins was the February honoree. Also, the top 5% of the class of 2023 were recognized, they are: Meredith A...

Happy Friday! I hope everyone had a great week. Today is our last midterm date of the school year. Midterms will be printed off and sent home with the students. These will be passed out at the end of 8th period.  On Monday, I will be meeting with seniors during advisory to go over graduation items. We will meet in the little theater. Seniors are down to 15 days of class not including today. If you have a senior failing a class, please make sure you are contacting parents and asking the student to come in before or after school to make up work or retake tests. My last check had 32 seniors failing one or more classes. Now not all of those seniors need to pass the class to graduate, but many do.  In the coming weeks, Mrs. Leavitt will be sending out more information regarding the extra pd hours for next year that you will be paid for to make up for the money you would lose from our new pd format....

Happy Friday! I hope everyone has had a great week with the warm weather. Looks like it could be little cooler this weekend. It is hard to believe we are already half way through April. Then end is in sight. Speaking of the end in sight, we have several seniors that are really digging a hole in terms of their grades. I will be talking to the 17 seniors that are failing a class needed for graduation today.  We do have our master schedule done for next year. Judd and Melissa are going through the student's schedules to make sure the students have all the required courses in there. We will be handing out student schedules soon. During advisory on Monday, the students will need to take the Conditions for Learning survey. We do have some students that the parents have turned in the form to excuse them from the survey. I will send out those names later today. Please just have those students sit quietly or re...
