Happy Friday!   I hope everyone has had a great week! Thank you for the flexibility in running our screener schedule on Wednesday. The MTSS committee would like to hear your feedback on the schedule. Did you like it better with the block of time or would you rather give it during the advisory time?  On Monday during advisory, there will be a Junior class meeting to kick off their fundraiser for prom. We will meet in the competition gym.  I am kind of at a stand still for the schedule for next year right now. There are a few things that have to be decided before I can finish it. Once I have a good, workable schedule, I'll send that out. When the schedule is created, the students are loaded. PowerSchool then gives me data showing how many requests were satisfied and how many students were fully scheduled. From there, tweaks will be made to the schedule. Once I start loading students, they may see a schedule in the PowerSchool app. That will not be official until ...

Happy Friday! I hope everyone had a great week. It is that time of year again to think about summer maintenance. Let me know if you need anything fixed in your classroom. If it isn't a major job, please let Mike know about it now so they can get an early jump on the small jobs. Please let me know by Feb. 28. On Wednesday, students in grades 9-11 will take the Reading and Math screener for a second time. Please tell your students to report to the same place they took the screener the first time. Senior's will be allowed to leave at that time and senior advisory teachers please check on the teachers around you to see if they need a break. You can find the schedule here if you need it.  Congrats to the Boy and Girl Bowling teams as they qualified for the state bowling meet, to the Robotics team who also qualified for the state tournament, Colton Hoag, Brenick Hoppe, Jake Francksen-Small, Justin Otto, and Dylan Carlson for qualifying for the state wrestling meet.  and the Jaz...

Happy Friday! Midterms of third quarter are on Thursday of next week. Please make sure grades are updated by Friday morning so midterms can be sent home that day. Please have the students complete the third quarter midterm during advisory on 2/18. There will be a meeting during advisory on 2/10 for students that were in challenge in middle school in the little theater. Dates to be aware of: Trimester 2 ends on 2/25.  For those groups that I was able to visit on Wednesday, thank you for the good discussion on the the 15 day unit plan. I am meeting with CIA to discuss some of the concerns that were expressed. I don't think I was as clear as I thought I was in last week's blog. For the March meeting, you need to share the data from the interventions you are doing in one section. However, I do want you to start implementing this in all of your classes for the rest of this year and next school year. This is the least intrusive way to do interventions during the school day witho...
