Happy Friday! I hope everyone has had a great week.  This week, I'd like to focus on SIOP (Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol) teaching strategies and how we can effectively incorporate them into our high school classrooms. SIOP is a research-based instructional model that has proven effective in addressing the academic needs of English language learners (ELLs) while also benefiting all students.        Happy Friday!  As we wrap up another week, I want to take a moment to acknowledge the exceptional effort you've all put in. Your dedication to our students and their education has been truly remarkable. I'm particularly thrilled about the success of our homecoming class games last week. Your support and enthusiasm helped achieve our goal of getting more students engaged and excited for homecoming. It was wonderful to see such high levels of school spirit and participation. This week, I've observed: - Teachers staying late to provide additional support to struggling students - Staff collaborating on new engaging lesson plans - Counselors going above and beyond to address student concerns Your commitment does not go unnoticed, and it makes a significant difference in our students' lives. As we move forward, let's maintain our focus on holding students accountable. Remember: 1. Consistent expectations create a stable learning environment 2. Accountability te...
