Happy Friday! I would just like to take a quick moment to thank Nancy, Neal, and the student council for organizing our homecoming activities last week. I know the rain during the parade kind of put a wrinkle into the plan, but everything else went off without a hitch. Also, thanks to all of you who helped organize the float building, supervised float building, and helped with parade line-up. Without your help and support it would not have gone off as well. Midterms are this Tuesday, the 29th. We will run the reports to mail home that morning, so please have everything updated by 8:30. Reminder to put comments in the quarter 1 section. In advisory on Monday, have the students complete the midterm reflection only. The back side will be completed on Oct. 5. Please keep them together with the first sheet the students filled out. I may want to look at the sheets of those students who are not passing at midterm to have a conversation with them about their goals and what they are doin...

Happy Friday! I hope everyone had an enjoyable homecoming week. With being gone for two days to attend a class on Accessing Academic Rigor, it really went by fast for me. Remember, if you are not doing anything tonight and get bored Mr. Utesch and I always enjoy more company at the dance. It starts after the game and goes until midnight. Put on your dancing shoes and come on out! I would also encourage you to attend the Menu Masters event on Saturday night. This is the main fundraiser for LEEP. LEEP will then turn around and help fund teacher requests that the district might not be able to fund. It is a very fun evening and all the money goes back to help our students in the district. I will be at a meeting Tuesday, September 22 in Des Moines so if you need a substitute that morning you will need to call Mr. Utesch. There have been some questions on what weeks you need to meet in your PLC groups. You will need to meet each week that we do not have a building in-service. ...
